Upper Cervical Therapy - Highly Effective Therapy Method

Side view from left and right on a muscle model: Starting from the mastoid process, the left posterior digastric muscle passes behind the atlas extension (left image); on the right side in front of the atlas extension (right image).
Skull model, view on the skull base: Left before treatment, right after therapy. The left posterior digastric muscle (in the picture on the right) is shifted to the front of the atlas extension.

The left posterior digastric muscle (Venter posterior musculi digastrici sinister) passes behind the upper cervicals (C1, C2), however, on the right side, it passes in front of them. The health-related disadvantages of asymmetric digastric muscle conduction can be neutralized by muscle rearrangement of the left posterior digastric muscle in front of the upper cervicals: From the time of treatment, blood flow to the head is optimized and the axial skeleton and its musculature symmetrized.

The therapy results presented here should be considered independently from physiological reasonings. The latter are attempts at interpretation, which aim at explaining the surprising variety of symptom reductions due to the one therapeutic action - rearrangement of the left posterior digastric muscle in front of the upper cervicals.
